The Mission of NFS Ministries, Inc., in accordance with Matthew 25:35-36, is to provide food, shelter and clothing to those in need without regard to race, color, ethic origin, national origin, creed, religion, political belief, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, veteran’s status, physical or mental disability. NFS Ministries, Inc., seeks to do God’s will through the help of our local churches, community, charities and businesses.

Through financial support the board of NFS Ministries, Inc., is planning to open an overnight shelter in the old Stork's Bakery building in North Parkersburg. The plan is to offer immediate emergency services and develop a 12 - 18 month discipleship program for long-term residents. We will have housing for veterans and are working towards creating a domestic violence shelter. We plan to work alongside other agencies in this area with similar goals of helping individuals rise above their past and present circumstances. In addition to serving walk-in applicants, we will be working with the WV DHHR on referrals for placement in the shelter.
